After many requests I’m now offering a street photography workshop.

A couple of hours with me on the streets and in a few cafes, talking photography and taking photos. It will be an informal, informative and intensive session, with discussion and hands-on demonstrations that cover the essentials of photography, especially street photography. I will answer all the dumb questions and provide real advice about what equipment to own, how to better use your camera, how to see light instinctively.

Plus, we will discuss visualisation, anticipation, quality of light, composition, lens choice, depth of field, megapixels, white balance, formats, posing, post-production, plus much, much more. You will learn from my mistakes, get great tips and shortcuts, and I will bust the marketing myths about gear.

Whether you are an emerging professional or keen amateur, an uncle with a DSLR who is keen on weddings, or a hipster toting a 35mm Leica, you will leave the session able to shoot better and far more interesting photographs.

Please call me or email to make a booking.

“If a photographer cares about the people before the lens and is compassionate, much is given. It is the photographer, not the camera, that is the instrument.” ~ Eve Arnold.
